About Me
Greetings! This picture sums up a huge part of my life, and my why in general! I love my family, taking pictures of tiny elements in nature, playing with our family dog, Raya, and hiking with friends! I love Mexican food and have a passion for continually learning about holistic health.
I will let you in on a little secret…I have not always been into natural health! I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s as a severe asthmatic. I was in the hospital quite a bit since my breathing was not well-controlled. I spent quite a bit of time with nurses and decided early on that I wanted to give back and serve others like they had served me!
I worked in different areas as a registered nurse from 1997 to 2021. As I note in the video below, an event happened with my oldest son (the one in the middle) that caused me to open my eyes to the whole new world of alternative health! He was able to get the help his body was desperately needing through holistic methods after the medical field had done all they could possibly do to help him.
This experience opened my eyes as a somewhat jaded nurse to a whole new world of possibilities to help myself, my own family, and others! This experience was difficult, but quite humbling and empowering.
I decided to go back to school at night while still working as the Coordinator of Health Services and campus nurse at the school district in Rockport, Texas.
I became a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner through Trinity School of Natural Health in December of 2020, and I haven’t looked back! I am a firm believer that we can become our own best doctors, and that our bodies simply need to be supported in order to achieve this.
As I mention in the video, everyone has their “why” for seeking out natural health. Perhaps you don’t feel heard, or are being told “everything’s normal” when you know something isn’t right with your body. Perhaps you are seeking more natural ways to support your body without side effects.
Whatever the case may be, I am here for you! I have been where you are and would love to help you get to the root cause of what you are feeling.
